1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, refunds, billing errors, and plan changes work for Asset Minder.
2. Subscription Billing
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Billing is processed through Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan and billing interval until the subscription is canceled.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in the app or by contacting [email protected].
Unless otherwise stated during cancellation, cancellation stops future renewal charges. Your paid access may continue through the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate.
We may consider refunds for:
- Duplicate charges.
- Billing errors.
- Accidental upgrade or renewal requests submitted promptly.
- Service issues that materially prevented use of the paid service.
5. Refund Request Window
To request a refund, contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge. Include your account email, business name, charge date, amount, and reason for the request.
6. No Prorated Refunds
Unless required by law or approved by us, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, unused features, unused equipment capacity, or failure to cancel before renewal.
7. Plan Changes
Plan upgrades may take effect immediately. Downgrades or cancellations may take effect at the end of the current billing period depending on billing portal settings and subscription status.
8. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may notify you, retry the charge, suspend paid features, downgrade the account, or cancel the subscription. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts where permitted by law.
9. Account Data After Cancellation
Cancellation of a paid plan does not automatically delete your account or business data. Some features may be limited based on the active plan. To request account deletion, contact support.
